Hi there, I’m SOONG, a solo developer of Deckbane.By day, I work as an engineer, but I’ve always loved drawing. Inspired by the charming art style of Wildfrost, I took a leap of faith and decided to handle the entire game's art myself. After more than 1 year of drawing, coding, and continuous self-improvement, Deckbane was born.Deckbane is a roguelike deckbuilder that fuses classic poker hands with strategic combat. Here is what makes it unique:Poker-Driven Combat: Unlike Wildfrost's counter system, your heroes attack by gaining Morale from the poker hands you play.Dynamic Treasures: Unlike Balatro's fixed Joker slots, Treasures in Deckbane can either be slotted or played directly with your hand to trigger powerful rule-breaking effects.It’s been an incredible personal journey of rediscovering my passion for art, and I can't wait for you to build your ultimate deck!
